Brief Explanation on the Practice

Konchok Chidu (Tib. དཀོན་མཆོག་སྤྱི་འདུས་) — : “The Embodiment of the Precious Ones” or “The Embodiment of the Three Jewels” is a terma cycle revealed by the great terton Rigdzin Jatson Nyingpo (Tib. ་རིག་འཛིན་འཇའ་ཚོན་སྙིང་པོ་) (1585–1656), a fully ordained monk which is rather uncommon for treasure revealers.

Konchok Chidu is a Guru Padmasambhava sadhana encompasses the Three Roots: the outer Peaceful Guru Padmasambhava (Tib. གུ་རུ་མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྡོ་རྗེ་ Guru Tsokye Dorje) as Lama, the inner Wrathful Padmasambhava (Tib. གུ་རུ་དྲག་པོ་ Guru Drakpo) as Yidam, and the secret Padmasambhava in the form of Simhamukha (Tib. སེང་གེ་གདོང་མ་ Senge Dongma) as Khandro. This sadhana is a Guru Padmasambhava practice commonly practice in the Nyingma and Kagyu traditions throughout the Himalayas and Tibet.

Konchok Chidu is also a Guru Yoga practice, and one of the most profound and the highest and most secret way of accomplishing the mind of Guru Rinpoche. It helps to avert spiritual obstacles and pacifies all negativity on the path to enlightenment.
